Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL), a Navratna Central Public Sector Undertaking, is a premier Aeronautical Industry of South East Asia, with 19 Production/Overhaul/Service Divisions and 9 co-located R&D Centres spread across the Country. HAL’s spectrum of expertise encompasses design, development, manufacture, repair, overhaul and upgrade of Aircraft, Helicopters, Aero-engines, Industrial & Marine Gas Turbines, Accessories, Avionics & Systems and structural components for Satellites & Launch Vehicles. The Divisions at Koraput, a unit of HAL’s vast network, have the unique distinction of being one amongst the few Aero Engine manufacturers in the world. Applications are invited from eligible candidates in the prescribed proforma fulfilling the criteria specified for following posts in Hindustan Aeronautics Limited for its Division at Koraput.
1. JOB SPECIFICATIONS
A) SENIOR MEDICAL OFFICER (ORTHOPAEDICS)- GRADE-III
Job Requirement:
1) Should be able to manage closed, open fractures and multi-trauma patients.
2) Should be able to assist in Orthopaedic surgery and should be well versed in conservative management of fractures and dislocations.
3) Knowledge in Arthoscopy /Arthoplasty will be an added advantage.
4) Should be able to attend and manage cases independently in the emergency room as and when required.
5) As and when required should be able to perform duties as a general duty medical officer.
B) SECURITY OFFICER-GRADE-II
Job Requirement:
1) Should be able to manage industrial security staffs in the capacity of Shift In-charge
2) Should be able to investigate theft cases
3) Should be able to take up vigilance work or should have experience in collection of intelligence
4) Should have experience in access systems, patrolling, investigative procedures, incident report writing
5) Should have commandeering-ability and disciplined
C) FIRE OFFICER – GRADE-II
Job Requirement:
1) Should be able to manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of fire service department
2) Should be able to deliver key fire fighting training program and demonstration on regular intervals.
3) Should have excellent crisis and risk management skills
4) Should have excellent knowledge of fire ground operations
5) Should have adequate knowledge of maintaining fire equipments, station facilities etc.
D) ASST. SPORTS OFFICER (GRADE-I)
Job Requirement:
1) Should have strong verbal communication skills to motivate people
2) Must be able to coordinate, deliver and promote sports activities, classes and events in Football/Archery
3) Should be able to organise local, regional and national level games, seminars and conferences
4) Must be able to evaluate and monitor the players using performance indicators and maintain records and should produce written reports
5) Should be able to raise public awareness of health and fitness issues and promote participation in sports.
E) ASST. ENGINEER (SAFETY) – GRADE-I
Job Requirement:
1) Should be well conversant with statutory industrial safety norms & procedures
2) Should have knowledge of health & environmental safety
3) Should have knowledge of onsite emergency plan and making safety reports
4) Should have knowledge of First Aid & Fire fighting
5) Should have knowledge of pollution control activities
F) ASST. ENGINEER (RUSSIAN LANGUAGE INTERPRETER) – GRADE-I
Essential Qualification:
First Class Engineering Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics from any recognized University/Institution with proficiency in Russian Language. The candidate either should have graduated from Russian Universities or should have Russian language certificate of proficiency i.e. of minimum six months from recognized Institution. Candidates who have obtained degree from Russian Universities should produce equivalent certificate from association of Indian universities or Competent Authority at the tome of Interview.
2. AGE LIMIT
Upper age limit is 45 years (for post at Sl. No.1) and 40 years (for Sl. No. 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6) as on 01.04.2010 for General Candidates. Upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years in respect of OBC and 5 years in respect of SC/ST candidates. Age relaxation is admissible to PWD / Ex-Servicemen as per Government directives. Candidates belonging to OBC Category are required to produce recently obtained Community Certificate in proof of their community at the time of their Interview (not older than 6 months as on 01.04.2010 in the format prescribed by Government of India, stating that they do not come under the creamy layer, from a Competent Authority.
3. APPLICATION FEE:
The application should be accompanied by a crossed Demand Draft(DD) of Rs. 400/-, which is non-refundable (exempted in the case of SC/ST/PWD candidates), drawn in favour of “Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Engine Division” payable at State Bank of India, Sunabeda-2, Code No. 1304 only. No other mode of payment will be accepted.
4. SELECTION PROCEDURE
Only short-listed candidates will be called for viva-voce for posts at Sl. No.1, 2 & 3 and short-listed candidates for post at Sl. No.4, 5 & 6 shall be called for written test. Instructions regarding written test/viva-voce will be intimated to the short-listed/eligible candidates individually. On qualifying the written test, the candidates will be called for vivavoce. Candidates called for viva-voce will be paid III Tier AC Train fare / Actual Bus fare by shortest route on production of proof of journey. Nearest Railway Stations – Koraput (18 Kms), Vizianagaram (130 Kms) & Visakhapatnam (180 Kms). Buses and Shared Taxies are available at Vizianagaram Railway Station round the clock.
5. GENERAL CONDITIONS
i) Only Indian Nationals need apply. Mere submission of application will not entitle any right for claiming Appointment.
ii) Candidates are required to indicate their contact telephone numbers as well as valid email-ID in their application, for ensuring faster communication
iii) Age and experience are to be counted as on 01.04.2010.
iv) Candidates must have total experience as specified in the relevant field.
v) Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD are required to send copies of Certificates along with the application in support of their claim.
vi) Applicants serving in Govt. / Public Sector Enterprises should apply through proper channel or produce NOC at the time of Interview failing which they shall not be allowed for interview & TA will not be paid.
vii) HAL reserves the right to raise the eligibility criteria to restrict the number of candidates to be called for Interview and also fill up the posts or alter the number of posts or even cancel the whole process of
recruitment without assigning any reason.
viii) Appointment of selected candidates is subject to receipt of satisfactory Medical Reports as per the standards prescribed by HAL as well as verification of Caste and Character & Antecedents from the concerned Authorities, as per rules of the Company
