2. Qualifications: (1) M.D (Anesthesiology)/ DNB (Anesthesiology)
(2) Permanent Registration under State Medical Council (Travancore Cochin Medical Council)
Note: – DNB Qualification must be acquired from a Medical College, which is recognised by any of the University in Kerala.
3. Number of vacancies : 15 (Fifteen)
Note: – The above vacancies are now in existence. The list of selected candidates published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year provided that the said list will continue to be force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised from the said list against the vacancy noted above and that may be reported to the Commission in writing during the period of currency of the list.
In the absence of candidates with the above qualification, candidates will be considered for the post of Lecturer as follows:

Qualifications: -
(i) MBBS Degree from a recognised University.
(ii) Permanent Registration under State Medical Council (Travancore Cochin Medical Council)
Note: – (i) Provisional Registration with any Medical Council will not be accepted.
(ii) Candidate who have secured Permanent Registration with other State/ Central
Medical Council will have to get themselves registered under the Travancore-Cochin Medical Practioners Act before they join duty in the post.
(iii) Candidates who are appointed in the post should serve for 4 (four) years during the first 10(Ten) years of their service (including the period of training) anywhere in India or in any foreign country under Defence Service or assignments connected with Defence. This compulsory service is not applicable to those who have completed 45 (Forty-five) years of age.

- 5. Age limit: Must have completed 21 (Twenty One) years of age and must not have completed 45 (Forty Five) years of age as on 01.01.2010.(For conditions regarding the age relaxation please see Part II of the General Conditions)
- 6. Application: The application should be submitted only by on line facility provided in
the Website of the Kerala Public Service Commission. Detailed instructions regarding the submission of applications are available in the Website of the Kerala Public Service Commission Viz.www.keralapsc.org. No application fee is required. The barcode number in the application form shall be quoted in all further enquiries/correspondence. Documents to prove qualification, age and community have to be produced as and when called for. Applications which are not submitted in accordance with the instructions given in the website will be summarily rejected.
